Preserving the past for the future
Tonedale Mill is one of the South West’s biggest industrial conversions. At the heart of our multi-million pound vision is the commitment to sustainable development and sympathetic regeneration. The 12.6 acre site features a range of Grade II and II* listed buildings comprising 223 one, two, three, four and five bedroom apartments and houses. In addition there will be offices, shops and a café, creating a new sustainable community and thriving live/work environment.
In addition, the Mill incorporates an artisans’ quarter, preserving skills including a bookbinder, sculptor, stained glass and furniture restorers and even a violin maker. And it’s not only crafts that we are safeguarding; we have taken care of the wildlife too, maintaining the habitat of bats, otters and other animals and plants on the site.
